KPRC off to a great start in 2011!!

Today, we scored a first when we secured 20 minutes of airtime on the PMR-rated number one radio station in Zambia, Hot FM. The agreement will see KPR Consulting develop content for a 20 minute flagship business programme titled 'Business Day'.

Business Day will give a weekly snapshot of the business landscape in Zambia, delivering news, analysis and interviews with business players and opinion leaders in the country. It will air weekly at 09:30Hrs during the mid-morning show, The Link with Tony Mukanzu. A date for the first episode will be announced soon.

KPRC will format the programme, making critical decisions on guests as well working with its network of news sources to produce and present a weekly update on business news, money markets as well as a look at the everyday ins and outs of doing business in Zambia.

Principal Consultant, Kachepa Mtumbi: "Having a controlling stake in programming at an urban radio station gives us significant influence on the business news of the day, giving our clients an opportunity to showcase their businesses through a controlled platform. In a media landscape that is closely controlled by media owners, we've secured a vantage point that is peerless."

In future, KPRC plans to syndicate the show on the Copperbelt, Chipata and Southern Province as well as produce a weekly podcast of the show for business professionals who will require their weekly business briefing on the go.

Last year, Professional Management Review  (PMR Magazine) rated Hot FM number one for entertainment and number two for news.
